trenchwatch asked: "I have just graduated with a bachelors degree in nutrition and food science. I did not plan on taking this any further. Now I am taking the year off to apply to medical school. Medicine is my passion, but my chances of acceptance do not look good, so I am looking into a masters in human nutrition, and going on to get a PhD. I figure that I'll still be involved in healthcare, even if it is not my first choice. Besides teaching and research, do you know of any career opportunities in nutrition and food science with either a masters or PhD? Thank you in advance for your answers."

Question posted courtesy of:
Kimberly B replied: "have you thought about teaching at a college?"
gallie replied: "I'm pretty sure you have to have a masters or considerable experience to teach at the college level.I know of two kinds of studio artist jobs, entrepreneurs, who make a living selling/crafting their art (ex. painters via galleries, studio/custom furniture makers, muralists, etc.) and waiters who work their art on the side.Your focus will make a big difference. If your focus is painting, you're choices are pretty much painting, murals, or possibly illustrating- although illustration can be a focus all by itself. Studio furniture artists can make furniture and interiors. Sculptors can do anything from metalwork to light installations."
